We make special sweets like kevum, athirasa and kokis. We go to the temple and offer flowers. People wear new clothes. People eat their meals at an auspicious time. Children enjoy themselves. New Year is a happy time for all of us. My ambition My ambition is to be a doctor. A doctor is a very helpful person in the society. I must work hard and enter the medical college to become a doctor. If I become a doctor, I will spend most of my time with patients. I will give my fullest service for the patients. My parents encourage me to go through my dream. All the people respect this profession. I will become a doctor in future and do something for the country. |
